the birth of lily…

This is a slideshow of my last birth (a waterbirth)…there is nothing inappropriate in it, (aside from one mild placenta photo, so if you are squeamish over tiny amounts of blood, dont view;)) so please enjoy! I wanted to put this up so everyone is able to visualise what it is that I do:)

*Note that there is some “grain” in photos that arent in the bathroom, due to the dim lighting…this is because I dont use flash unless under extreme circumstances. I actually love it.:)*

(And thank you D for allowing me to publish such an emotionally personal thing!)

That was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen! Such a miraculous occasion and so special to have captured it in such a precious way. Congratulations to the parents on the birth of such a beautiful little girl and well done Britt.

Britt……..I don’t know what to say but thank you, they are amazing. Man some of my faces are pretty intense!!!! Love the shots of Matt and my mom rubbing my lower back and LOVE the one of me laughing at Matt. Have no idea what I’m laughing at but he must have said something ridiculous. He’s good at that. The most amazing thing is babe, looking at the angle of some of the shots, I just don’t remember you standing there at all. Also love the clocks and the mobile phone. You can see that he was going to call his parents (only because we know the first digits of the number). Love the shot of Matt and his dad hugging and the two of me and mom laughing and the one with her tear and Lily’s feet….ok pretty much the whole thing….so amazing, wish you were there for Indie!!!!! Thanks again, if anyone is wanting to have you do it and are a little hesitant you just give them my number and I would be glad to talk with them about it and reassure them that you’re the best…..xoD.
